These are the lyrics to a song I wrote. I wrote part of the song a couple of years ago and I wrote the rest after the death of Steven Curtis Chapman's daughter. I'm dealing with a few tough things right now, and though they aren't as bad as things that so many people are going through, they are still heavy on my heart. I only pray that I draw closer to Him because of it. James 1:2-4
Waves crash against this fragile life of mine
And storms rage against my heart
It feels like I've been lost at sea
And there's no one that can rescue me
For what was once so perfect, now is gone
And I don't know how to carry on But...
God already sees the sun
The path is set before you
The work's already done
So when you can't see past the tears
Or through the pouring rain
God already sees the sun
And when there's no more tears to cry
And no more heart to break
Just know that in the future
There is something great
